This 76 mm Euro Profile Stainless Steel Deadlock with Intumescent Pads will help keep your fire door secure and fire ready. Each pack contains; 76 mm deadlock with stainless-steel faceplate, matching stainless steel strike plate, and a compatible graphite intumescent kit. Also included are all the fixings that you'll need to install this in your fire door. Please note that this product is designed for use with Euro Profile cylinders.
Intumescent pads are fitting to fire door fixtures and help keep it secure in the event of a fire. They're made from a material which expands when subjected to extreme heat, closing any gaps, and preventing the spread of heat and smoke. These intumescent pads are 'easy fit', meaning they're pre-cut to size and feature a layer of self-adhesive to make them super easy to peel and wrap around the lock in seconds. For a FD30 fire rating apply one, for a FD60 rating, apply two.
