Description

To open up your doorway, the Stormguard Folding Door Track and Gear Kit gives you a great bi-fold door solution. The SLIK mechanism allows your doors to fold to either side, leaving most of the floor clear for ease of access. It's suitable for door widths of up to 914mm, and thicknesses of between 25mm and 34 mm. It's been designed for fitting doors that will fold either side of an opening, but two tracks can be butted up together, up to 2338mm, with four door leafs. In this instance you'll need to fix the joint of the track at the centre so prevent it from interfering with the operation of the slider. It's not suitable for heavyweight doors, with a maximum weight per door of 15 kg.

The Stormguard bi-fold kit includes the aluminium top track with top bracket, slide guide, top and bottom pivots, jamb brackets, hinges, door aligner and fixing screws. The track itself can be easily cur down to 24" (610mm), 27" (686mm) and 30" (762mm) door sizes.

Question:

Hi, I assume that this system only uses a top track & hinge at bottom of one door? Also when the doors are fully open do both doors close together or is there a space between them? Regards Ron

Answer:

The system uses a top track and guide panel and peg at the bottom of the door. There will be a few mm gap between the doors when closed.

Good morning, I’m making small wooden window shutters I would like to hang 4 separate fold back doors….. ie; 2 left 2 right. Can I buy additional parts to make this product a 4 door kit. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, there is not currently a 4-door option for these tracks. The largest option is the 08SL0061219 (1219mm wide).

Hi I am looking at your Slik bi-folding door track. I am installing 2 x 686 doors to open to the left. So only opening from right to left. Do you sell anything that would be more suitable than buying 2 of these sets? Thank you
