Description

The soft stop kit is a great addition to your sliding husky pocket door system which allows you to gently glide the door open or shut. Please note: the husky 100 is for doors weighing up to 100kgs, and the Husky 50 is for doors weighing up to 50kgs.

Gently catches and slows down the doors opening or closing momentum and pulls them for the last 130mm of travel into their final position
Prevents unwanted slams and jams when your sliding door is closing
For use on the opening and closing side of wood and metal sliding doors
Just push the door lightly and the soft stop unit will slowly shut door
Suitable for use where doors should be closed when not in use
Convenient and installer-friendly, with no special tooling required
High quality, hydraulic damper is at the key of the system, tested to BS EN 1527 that will work maintenance-free throughout its lifetime
Designed to be installed in new installations or retro-fitted to a current Husky application
Available for single or double kits for either Husky 50 or Husky 100 sliding systems (Only single kit available for Husky 100)
Suitable for use with timber framed doors of flush, panelled or
glazed construction

Q: Do I need a single or double soft stop kit?
A: Single kit - soft stop on one end only (can be installed on either the open or closed side)
Double kit - soft stop on both ends (operation on both open and closed side), two kits are required

Technical Information

100kg soft stop kit includes:

one damper
one soft stop block
one soft stop hook
one soft stop hook block
all fixings required for the kit

The kit is universal either for closed or open positions, so for double applications for open and close damping order two kits.

Required extras (available in pocket door kit):

2 nylon-bodied needle roller-bearing 4-wheel hangers (284)
Steel (280); Aluminium mill finish (281A); or Aluminium anodised finish (280AN) track

Maximum door weight: 100kg

Minimum door weight: 25kg

Door width: Single damper installation - Minimum door width - 716mm

Double damper installation - Minimum door width - 1078mm

Door thickness: 20-50mm

Newton force required to prime the damper: 48N

Please note: The double damper installation is not suitable for use with pocket door systems
