Constructed with a Masonite skin, a type of hardboard made of steam-cooked and pressure-moulded wood fibres in a process. Wood chips are disintegrated by saturating them with 100 psi steam, then increasing the steam or air pressure to 400 psi and suddenly releasing them through an orifice to atmospheric pressure. Forming the fibres into boards on a screen, the boards are then pressed and heated to form the finished product with a smooth burnished finish.
This door has a multi-cell or spacer pad core for light duty, non-fire rated applications. Suitable for domestic use
FSC certified
Standard Core doors have a single lock block. The side of the door that the lock block is situated is indicated on the top of the door. On the veneered doors, the lock block is positioned centrally. On moulded doors, the top of the lock block is located 880mm from the top of the door.
The lock block is 360mm long by 80mm deep (+ / - 15mm).
Fireshield FD30 and Firemaster FD60 doors are solid core options and therefore, there is no lock block.

Question:
Hello there, I need some advice please. I'm looking to buy two of the Premdor Internal White Primed VERTICAL 5 PANEL Moulded Textured Doors which are 711mm x 1981mm, but the doorways are an unusual size; they're only roughly 1920mm in height. Is it possible to plain 60mm off the bottom/top of the doors to fit? Obviously dependent on whether or not they're hollow I guess. Thanks, Craig.
Answer:
This would go beyond the trimming tolerances for these doors, and would cause damage to the structural integrity of the doors whilst voiding the warranty. We have bespoke options available upon request

These doors could not be trimmed to that extent.
Question:
How much can be trimmed
Answer:
The maximum trimming recommended is 5mm from any edge on Standard Core door
