Thanks to their thermal efficiency, many of the doors within the External Extreme range are FSC accredited and Part 'L' compliant. Straightforward to install within a day by a competent joiner into a new or existing wooden door frame, it is supplied factory finished and ready to use. Additionally, there is no need to varnish or paint the face of the door, but it is vital that any planed edges are resealed immediately.

Finish

Pre-finished in white. Suitable to over paint if desired.|Primed External doors arrive with a base coat of primer already applied. The primed door is a blank canvas ready to be painted with the top coat of your choice.|Be sure to select a finisher with a lasting seal between component parts. Please avoid water based finishers, using only good quality solvent based finishers. Danish oil is not suitable for use on any of our doors.

Storage

• When receiving door it should be laid flat fully supported off the floor in a dry and fully ventilated area with protective packaging intact. Doors supplied unfinished should be thoroughly sealed on all faces and edges prior to any installation work.

Installation

• Easily fitted in a day by a competent joiner into an existing or new wooden door frame, the doors are issued factory finished and ready to use. There is no requirement to paint or varnish the face of the doors but it is imperative that any planed edges are resealed immediately. Ensuring that the fitting guidelines issued with the doors are followed will make certain the doors perform exceptionally.
