This 5mm Plain Replacement Spindle Connector Rod from Jedo is designed for door lever handles or knobs. This is an ideal replacement or spares item suitable for a lever on rose or backplate handle where the handle is not fixed via grub screw to the spindle (i.e. a slotted spindle) but relies on the plate or rose for pulling force.
The spindle is a straight metal (often steel) bar that connects the pair of lever handles on both sides of the door and is available in two spindle lengths to suit the thickness of your door. They can also be used in conjunction with bolt through fixings if necessary.
Like all metal-based products, ironmongery requires regular cleaning to prevent deposits from accumulating and damaging the item's appearance. Under no circumstances should you clean these products with abrasive cleaners or acid-based products. Instead, occasional wiping with a soft clean cloth and cleaning with a non-abrasive wax polish is recommended.
