Manufactured from Polished Chrome, the UAP Kinetica Thumbturn Euro Cylinder is a 3-Star, Kitemarked locking system that offers the very best security for doors. Complete with a hygienic focus alongside safety, this lock will ensure you have a secure system that's aesthetically pleasing and serves as a good defence when at risk of intruders.
On top of these modern security measures is the innovative cam system, further improving the quality of security overall. For hygiene, The keys for this lock are Bio as standard to ensure they have anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Testing to ISO 22196:2011 has been performed, showing a reduction of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia Coli, as well as testing to ISO 21702:2019, showing a reduction of SARS-CoV-2.
Many anti-tamper precautions are included in the design to ensure the lock can withstand attempted break-ins. First up are the anti-pick and anti-drill pins. These are on each side of the cylinder, making it extremely difficult for a burglar to pick the lock. There is also an anti-snap line on the cylinder's exterior, a patented anti-tilt mechanism and a patented anti-bump timing pin system. There are no trap pins, however, to eliminate the cylinder entrapment. For reassurance, there is a £4,000 anti-burglary guarantee, and the cylinder can be opened from the inside when under attack outside.
In total, there are six pins. If the lock needs to be re-pinned for keyed-alike or master suite configurations, this is possible. There are over 200,000+ different key combinations, plus unrestricted keyway, which means it's easier to get your key cut using a Kinetica key blank.
