This door differs in external and internal appearances: the inside is White and suits simplistic home interiors, while the outside is Grey 7016. Crystal Direct residential doors are guaranteed not to fade, crack or peel - eliminating your need to sand, paint and treat them. By simply wiping them down, you can maintain their visual value. This is combined with Class 1 surface spread of flame classification (BS476 part 7) panels and toughened glass (Kitemark BS6206), ensuring durability and security.
The door's thermal efficiency is commendable, with its low U Value of 1.3 W/m²K. Trickle ventilation aerates spaces when doors can't be left open and security is provided by the multipoint locking system, where reliable seals are produced by several bolts that slide into place. As for the door's structure, two uPVC skins adhere to an E.H.D.F.R.A (extra high-density fire-retardant additive) polystyrene core through pressure bonding by a heat and moisture resistant adhesive. Both skins are made to BS476: part 12 'Method of Test for Ignitability of Products by Direct Flame Impingement' and the core has no CFCs.
