Fitting & Preparation
Here you’ll find everything you need to install your new flooring and prepare the existing surface underneath. We stock everything from laminate underlay to tapes and adhesives, so you can complete your project as soon as possible.
Our cleaning products are the perfect starting point when it comes to preparing your subfloor. It is important to get rid of any dirt and grime and ensure the surface is clean and dry, which ensures your new flooring will be even and free of ridges. If you’ve got any old flooring that is tricky to remove, check out our tools. You may find you need a scraper or chisel to remove stubborn adhesive. We also have wet and dry vacuums available if you really want to achieve the most precise preparation.
You’ll also want to make sure your subfloor is sturdy and durable, so filling any cracks and sealing gaps is essential, which is why we stock bonding agents and grout. If you need to protect any pre-existing flooring that you’re not replacing, we also offer covers for these. If you’re fitting specialist flooring like laminate, check out our underlay which has everything from acoustic and soundproofing rolls and boards to products suitable for use with underfloor heating.
