If you’re looking for accessible external doors, 920mm x 2090mm meets the minimum requirements for wheelchair users. We can also arrange bespoke external doors with custom measurements if you can’t find the size you’re looking for.

FAQs
- Do external doors need to be fire rated?
Most standard front doors and back doors have no legal requirement to be fire-rated, but there are some exceptions. If your external door opens into another part of the building, for instance, a door from your garage directly into your house, or a front door of a flat into a communal space, then these must be fire-rated. External doors may also be required to be fire-rated if they are fitted within 10 feet of a property line. Communal doors opening into a stairwell must also be fire-rated.
