Description

The Carolina 4 panel is an external engineered hardwood door with superior mortise and tenon joints. This stronger jointing method gives a more durable door compared to a dowel constructed door. The door is supplied unglazed, where glass is not included but pre beaded. All you'd need to do is cut a cardboard template and take it along to your local glass supplier so you can pick the glazing type you desire.

The Victorian door is manufactured using up-to-date techniques. Yet, its authentic look allows you to recreate a classic Victorian style, whether it's for a refurbishment project or by adding a touch of charm to a modern property.

What is Mortise & Tenon

  • Mortise and Tenon is a type of construction joint that is made up of two parts. It is used to connect two pieces of wood, the tenon is the peg, and the mortise is the slot in which the tenon is inserted into. Mortise and Tenon constructed doors are one of the strongest type of joints and are ideal for exposed environments and can last longer without having to be regularly treated.

Answer:

Width wise, the nearest width is the MTCAR36 (915mm). Height-wise, the nearest is the MTCAR32 (2032mm). LPD do not currently offer these Doors in custom sizes.
