This obscure glazed door is brilliant for applications that wish for some natural daylight while also wanting to remain discrete and private. The sleek white uPVC finishes do not require painting, treatment, or sanding. Instead, cleaning processes are seamless, and the door is guaranteed to not peel, crack or fade. Equipped with skins that comply with BS476: part 12 'Method of Test for Ignitability of Products by Direct Flame Impingement' and cores that are free of CFCs, this door is manufactured with two uPVC skins that have been pressure bonded to an E.H.D.F.R.A polystyrene (extra high-density fire-retardant additive) core. This process is obtained through an adhesive that is formulated with moisture and heat resistance.
Heat retention can be achieved through the 1.3 W/m²K U Value. The panels have Class 1 surface spread of flame classification (BS476 part 7) alongside toughened glass (Kitemark BS6206), and doors close securely with the multipoint locking. Even when the bolts form confident seals, the door's trickle ventilation can still allow natural airflow.
