Is it possible to have the height cut to 1965 (8mm off each end) and not pre-finished please?

Answer:

Yes this would be ok. These doors can be trimmed up to a maximum of 16mm off each edge, including the top and bottom. These doors are only available in a pre-finished/fully finished version.
