Deanta now offers a range of stylish internal hardware that complements Deanta doors, the range extends from handles to hinges and locks to latches.
A tubular latch is a spring assisted door mechanism used on internal doors which do not require a lock. Measured by calculating the distance between the middle of the spindle hole and the edge of the latch, there are five industry standard sizes for tubular latches to choose from, ranging from 64mm up to 152mm. As well as a wide range of finishes to choose from, tubular latches also come in a variety of quality grades which will ensure you can find the perfect option for your specific needs. Standard tubular latches, which are not compatible with most mortice knobs, are best suited for lightly used sprung lever handles. Heavy duty tubular latches are a more durable option and are perfectly suited for doors that undergo more frequent use. Due to most mortice knobs being un-sprung, when fitting a doorknob, a double sprung tubular latch is essential.
