Door Architrave & Skirting Boards
Door architrave is a decorative door lining fitted to the outside of an existing lining to create an aesthetically pleasing design or pattern. Door frame architrave improves the overall look of your doorway and provides a great opportunity for homeowners to create a traditional or contemporary final finish.
Door architrave sets are available in a range of styles. Chamfered offers a classic design that is perfect for modern homes, Ferrol features multiple grooves and is suited to both modern and traditional homes, and the single groove is a highly versatile design that fits with any interior. We also stock ogee architrave, which is extremely popular and also suited to a variety of properties. Many of our architrave door frame sets come available in packs of five. Finishes in our door frame architrave range include oak, walnut and white, and we have fully finished, primed and unfinished options available.
Skirting boards cover the join between the wall and floor, and can also be used for decorative purposes. Typically, you’ll find wooden skirting with intricate designs, panels or moulding in period properties, whereas more modern dwellings tend to have simple skirting with clean lines. Adding a skirting board to the walls is useful as it creates a barrier at the bottom of the wall, protecting against accidental knocks and concealing wiring and imperfections in walls and floors.
