Description

This Garage Door Draught Excluder Seal is ideal for sealing large gaps beneath garage doors and reducing your garage interior's exposure to exterior elements. The pack consists of three 838mm aluminium carriers that can effortlessly join together and one 2500mm rubber seal.

This heavy-duty draught excluder seal is suitable for sealing gaps ranging between 25mm and 50mm. The rubber seal is slotted through the provided carriers when joined together to form your garage door protection.

  • Prevents draughts and cold winds from coming in under your garage door
  • Can be cut to suit your required garage door length
  • Slotted pre-drilled fixing holes for easy adjustment when fitting
  • Quick and simple to fit
  • Aluminium Carrier Length (each part): 838mm

For installation, measure the door for the required length. Slide the rubber strip out of the aluminium carrier and cut it to size with a sharp knife or scissors. With a hacksaw, cut the aluminium carrier to size. Feed the rubber strip back into the carrier and pinch both ends with pliers to prevent movement.

Then, place the draught excluder against the door so the rubber strip closes the draught gap. Mark the screw positions with a pencil through the slotted holes for fitting screws and drill holes with a pilot bit thickness of less than the screw thickness so that the screws can easily fit without damaging the screw heads. Finally, fix the draught excluder to the door with the screws and adjust up or down as required by loosening and re-tightening the screws in the slotted holes.

  • Fixings are not included.
  • All dimensions are subject to a measurement tolerance of +/- 3mm.
