Mortise and tenon is a type of construction joint that is made up of two parts. Unfortunately, we are unable to recommend a specific varnish. However, if you wish to maintain the door’s current colour, we suggest Sikkens Cetol 7, which is available in a range of colour options.
If you choose not to use this product, any alternative finish must be suitable for engineered timber products. It should be oil-based, high-build, and microporous. Please ensure you follow the finish manufacturer’s application guidelines carefully.
