The Mendes Capri Internal Oak Pre-Finished 3 Light Glazed FD30 Fire Door has a solid particleboard core construction with a stylish crown cut oak cross-directional veneered face and a double V grooved feature on each stile. This versatile design makes it ideal for any room in your home where privacy is not required, such as a kitchen or dining room.

The door and its 18mm solid oak lipping is finished with a high-quality open pore clear satin lacquer, which means it is ready to hang as soon as it arrives, saving you time and effort.

Please note:

  • Because all doors are manufactured differently, please follow the individual instructions that come with each door to ensure you do not void the manufacturer's guarantee
  • If a door needs to be trimmed, it must be reduced equally from both sides. You may trim up each side of a door to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping of 10mm or more. For doors with 6mm lipping, you may trim 3mm. Any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating.
  • We recommend using three hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.
  • Untreated products must be fully sealed before hanging - this applies to all surfaces, including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and, if used, will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.
