The glass unit fitted to the Sovereign door is triple glazed with a decorative leaded design and has feature raised mouldings surrounding the glass and panels on one side (outside) of the door.

The Sovereign is a natural effect external door which is timeless and on-trend. With solid 18mm oak lipping's and a thick oak face veneer the natural wood complements both contemporary and traditional homes and are a popular and classic choice for your home.

Finish

The Sovereign is supplied unfinished, ready for your own choice of finish. Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging, this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.

Technical Information

  • If a door needs to be trimmed it must be reduced equally from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping 10mm or more, and 3mm for doors with a 6mm lipping. Please note any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating. We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength. Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging, this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.

  • FSC Certified: Wood that is FSC Certified meets The Forest Stewardship Council standard that is recognised globally. The Forest Stewardship Council is an independent organisation that supports the responsible management of forests worldwide.

Please note:

  • We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.
  • This door must be fully protected from rain and direct sunlight by a porch, recess or overhang.
  • Because all doors are manufactured differently, please follow the individual instructions that come with each door.
