The Palermo is supplied unfinished, so how you paint, stain or varnish it is up to you. Keep it as close to natural as possible, or choose your own colour. Because it's a fire door, the Palermo gives 30 minutes of fire resistance, provided you've used FD30 rated door hardware, such as a latch, hinges and handles. That's because a door's hardware can be a weak spot in a timber door when it comes to protecting your home.
