Part L Compliant Doors

The increasing levels of building regulation have resulted in a new level of compliancy for doors. Part L refers to the Conservation of Fuel and Power and is all about having a minimal level of insulation and thermal efficiency. They use the U value to measure heat loss – the lower the U value, the more thermally efficient the door is.

Depending on the type of door and the building it is being fitted into, the maximum allowed U value varies, but we’ve ensured all our doors in this category are compliant.

Even if you aren’t required to get Part L compliant doors, they are a great way to make your home more energy efficient – combine Part L doors with well insulated walls, windows and roofs to greatly reduce the amount of heat loss and decrease your energy bills.

Our part L compliant doors come in a variety of styles so that being compliant does not restrict the design of your home. Whether you’re looking for a glazed or non-glazed door, and panelled or flush, we’re confident that here at Door Superstore you’ll find a stylish and functional door that meets the regulations, reduces your energy bills and fits in with your home.
