Intumescent Strips
Intumescent strips are there to ensure your fire door has maximum protection. Also known as fire door strips, they will swell if a fire breaks out, sealing gaps to prevent the spread of fire. They can be fitted around door frames, deadlocks, and hinges, with varying strips available adhering to fire regulations.
At Door Superstore, each intumescent strip in our range features an FD30, FD60, or FD90 fire rating. This means it will protect against fire for between 30 and 90 minutes. They also come in different colours, such as brass, silver, or grey, and feature a satin or polished finish, depending on your design requirements.
